Help!! When i connect a usb device such as my fuji camara or mp3 player its
shows up ok on my computer but when i try to access them it says " the disk
is drive h is not formatted do you want to format it" i cant access the files
on them. I've seen posts with a similar issue but havent seen the solution
yet.Ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling the devices and usb ports and
done a windows repair , but the problem is still there. Is this a software

This error is usually caused when the file system on the removable media is
corrupt (hard to believe that memory on camera and mp3 player are both
corrupt). If you do not have any important data on the camera memory/mp3
player, let Windows format the media(use FAT, most portable devices read
memory formatted with FAT only). Check if Windows uses the memory properly
after formatting. Now try using the portable device(camera/player) in
isolation(disconnected from the computer).

One question, if your computer does not recognize the format on memory card,
how are you transferring soongs onto it?
