Due to licensing agreements, USB 2.0 drivers for Windows 2000/XP are not available for download. They are supplied on CD with new mainboards or available through Windows Update.

I don't know why they responded like this. It is not true at all. Aftermarket devices COMMONLY ship with their own drivers. Why would this USB-Serial adapter be any different.

I found this and tested it.
