Hellooo folks! My parents PC are experiencing a weird problem. Everytime a USB stick goes into the front, emiment card reader, it crashes the PC. The signal between the monitor and the PC is lost but the PC keeps running. I had a month ago, they had the same problem. So I put a new card reader in and it works fine... till now... again the problem occurs. The USB ports in the back do not crash, only the front, which there is only 1 USB port. Is anyone familiar with this problem and know a fix? Thanks in advancee! cheers!
PC specs: MS-7388/AMD X2 Dual Core Processor 5200 2.7Ghz/4GB RAM

Solution
Could just be the wiring used in the reader that attaches to the motherboard headers are thin gauge or low quality. What USB stick is causing the problem? If its a higher performance one or USB 3.0, it could be trying to use to much current for the card reader to handle. Maybe over time something is getting damaged from this. Still, this doesn't sound like it would keep your PC from shutting off. Between this and original problem, could be a grounding or PSU/board issue.

The card reader that I have in the PC now is Eminent EM1059. Also, I cannot turn off the PC by holding the power button, I have to turn off the power supplier button
