USB Stick Problem

I'm trying to transfer a file from one computer to another and already got the file on the USB stick but when i put it into the new PC the stick does not show up anywhere. My OS is Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit, This File is a network adapter driver so i will not be able to access the internet from the PC itself .

Well i know the usb ports are not defective because im using my keyboard and mouse on it and they are usb connection
