USB, VIA problem....

Hey everyone.

I got a bit of a problem. My USB ports do not work. At all. I've tried everything I can think of. Updated drivers, updated BIOS, different OSes, every version of driver I can think of. I've tried to enable/disable the USB in the CMOS, enabling legacy support, everything. I've tried the USB filter driver from VIA, nothing works. I have all my drivers up to date, and Serveice pack 2 in Win2000. Nothing. Anyone think of anything I didnt?

PS, heres' my setup.
Duron 600
Gigabyte GA-7ZM motehrboard Kt133 chipset
Win2000/win98 dual boot.
Can't think of anything else that would be relavant, other than my PWS is only 250 Watt, could that be the problem. Although the device I want to run is self powered.

Please don't be offended by this, but I once looked for a couple of hours trying to make the USB ports work, and then discovered I hadn't installed the drivers into the O/S. Much like NT and installing a sound card... not a trivial excercise.

Good luck.
