Usb wireless card for dektop

I have a desktop how can I connect it to wireless network (which adapter should I purchase)

You have a choice of PCI type or USB. USB is simpler to fit, PCI may perform better.

When it comes to brand this matters less than you might think as all the brands use a small pool of chipset types. Differences in price with major brands like Netgear, Dlink, Linksys may be justified by better after sales service but who keeps equipment for any time these days?
