Hey.

I've been having some problems with my PC. My USBs disconnect randomly, requiring me to close the PC using the power button. I've checked all my power saving settings and device manager settings are also OK. I bought a new motherboard, but it didn't help. I've downloaded all the drivers, but I haven't downloaded the newest bios (didn't help this issue on the last motherboard). There's no problem with my USB devices, since they work perfectly on other machines. I think it has something to do with the W10 itself. I've contacted microsoft support multiple times to no avail. I'm just really lost with this issue and I'm getting really tired of dealing with it. (Note. the mouse cursor disappears as well)

When posting a thread of troubleshooting nature, it's customary to include your full system's specs. List them like so:

Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:

Are you on the latest BIOS update for your motherboard? You might also want to list all the devices that are connected off the USB ports and if you have any hubs connected to one or more of the ports.

Look for the keyboard and mouse in Device Manager, open Properties and see if there is a Power Management tab. If so untick the box which says "allow the system to turn off this device to save power".

I've checked every place in the device manager and power save settings, no problem there.

As I said in the post, the BIOS update didn't help on the earlier motherboard, so I think it won't help. I don't have any other USB devices than my mouse and my keyboard, no USB hubs. It also doesn't matter if the USB device is in an USB 2.0 or 3.0 port.
