Use 1866Mzh RAM in a Intel I5-4690

Hi ,

My question is :

Someone here on Tomshardware sent me a full PC spec to build but wile I was looking at it I happened to see that on Intel official site they say that the I5-4690 Memory Types are (DDR3-1333/1600, DDR3L-1333/1600 @ 1.5V) and the PC he sent me was with a HyperX Fury 1866Mzh , so can i use that RAM with my i5-4690 ?

(also my MoBo is a MSI Z97 GAMING 5)

You can, it might run @1600mhz stock but if you go into the BIOS and enable XMP the ram will run at 1866mhz.

You might need to do a BIOS update as well to ensure compatibility.
