We live in the boonies and our only internet solution (other than satellite) is a Pantech USB modem from Verizon. It is now plugged in to a Cradlepoint MBR95 router, also sold by Verizon.
Now we want to get the Airtv black box, which you plug an antenna in to, then it transmits the converted antenna signal through a router to a Roku or such on the new 4k tv, which will do two things that we want to do. It will let us watch antenna TV during at least some of the Dish network outages, and will let us watch 4k broadcast tv. The Cradlepoint router is not up to this, and may also no longer be supported, in which case I would like to replace it anyway, so I am looking at a router that will do the job.
Verizon isn't interested in talking to me about anything that they do not sell, and Netgear chat "had no agents available" so they cancelled my chat, so I am turning to you folks. I see that this Netgear router has two USB ports, and wonder if one of them can be used for this purpose.
