Used Dell laptop or new other cheaper brand

Hi,

I am looking for a laptop to use to play video and audio out to a/v system.
No heavy duty anything needed.

Was wondering whether a used Dell laptop maybe 7240 i5 or this Inspiron 11 3000 3185 2-in-1 would be better than a new lower system like Acer or this https://www.officeworks.com.au/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/officeworks/p/hp-14-notebook-14-bw072au-hp14bw072a

For just playing videos you can do with a low end system. I would buy a newer one to get the warranty on it. If you want something cheap, a used $150 laptop like a Lenovo X220 would be fine.
