Question Used Game Boost, OC won't reset

Used the Game Boost on my MS-7B45, started up the pc, decided it wasn't worth it with the fan noise, went and turned it off. Yet, fans are running at the same speeds, windows and speccy is showing the Intel Core i7-8700K running at 4.4Ghz still.
I went back into bios and set it to return to default optimized settings, but the problem remains.
I wondered what to do now?

Attempt to go into the advanced motherboard settings and find where the fan speed controllers are. As long as your fans are plugged into your motherboard you should be able to find a setting to either turn it on or quiet down your CPU and case fans.
