ok my question is if i should buy an new m5a97 2.0 new on for $89.99 or buy used Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3 that has been used for mining for a few months(seller told me) for $80. I'm maxed out my budget so if the 990 goes bad I can't get a new one.
the reason why my build cost is cheap is because I bought the directcu r9 270x used with asus 2 year warranty for $135.
Ive decided to get the fx-8320 so in the future if needed I have the option of overclocking the fx-8320, buying a cpu cooler and geting an other r9 270x directcu or something else same price and it wouldnt be bottlenecked like the fx 6300.

Solution
I know somebody who overclocked their fx-8350 to 4.5 GHz from their 4.0 GHz with a corsair H80i with the Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P board, so it is good overclocking with a good cooler installed, along with crossfire support for a 2nd r9 270x later on, and I'd recommend the 600w corsair psu because if you do those upgrades it will eat up power so it's always good to have some wiggle room to not have to find yourself spending more later on for a new power supply to support a second graphics card.
Buying used can be shady because of warranty details and what not, that asus motherboard is a great motherboard, and for an extra $10, it's better to buy new then used, another board I'd recommend is the gigabyte-GA-970A-UD3P motherboard because it's $5 more than that used motherboard and $5 less than the asus motherboard coming in at $85 with good overclocking performance.

Also the corsair cx500 has a $20 rebate so it will be $29.99 after, for my build should I get this cx600m vs cx500. also would i be able to add an other r9 270x later in crossfire with these modo?

hey the corsair 300r has comes with 2 fans but 120mm are on sale for 2.99 so whats the best setup if the case has two fan mounts on side, two on top, two at front, one bottom and one at the back
