Using a 125v cord on a 120v dvd player.

I currently cannot find my dvd player's supplied cord. Ok, I found one that fits but; my dvd player reads, 120V, 60hz, and I assume 19 w. The cord I found for the time being just reads, 7A, 125V. Is it a risk to plug this in? Thank you for any comments or knowledge.

A 7a 125v cable is capable of supplying close to 900w.

There will be no issue usimg it to power a DVD player .

Assuming its a figure 8 cable which has long been the standard for items like that ??
