Using an EVGA 600b as a short term replacement PSU. Safe?

Sup dudes. Just got my 1070 in the mail but my had an unfortunate psu death yesterday. A buddy of mine hooked me up with an unused 600b and was ultra paranoid about popping the card in with it. Is it safe to use for a week or so until I can get a higher quality replacement?

Well, almost its better than a generic one. I would use it and pray.

There is no reason to be concerned, it's a perfectly fine short term replacement.

There are a lot of PSU's poorer than that one , it will be fine.
