USAFret is right, you could get a $1000 wifi router, and it'll still be wifi, therefore you'll still have crappy signal, skyhigh latency and constant microcuts, those problems are inherent to the wifi itself and can't be solved by throwing more money into routers and receivers.
Fact is that a $10 cable can beat a wifi router worth several hundreds, no way around it. Powerline stuff requires new and tidy electrical wiring in order to work somewhat decently, if your place is 20+ years old then the wiring is probably a mess and powerline will performe the same or worse than wifi.
MoCA works better if there's no wifi involved, meaning from the router to the moca adapter(s) and into the computer
I'm using phone cable rn but even if OP did the same there's no way more than 7-8Mbps can go through something like that, not a problem for me as I only have a 1Mbps connection, cool thing but can't be applied in countries with decent internet speeds xx
