I'm struggling with locating/accessing data from my old hard drive (connected to netbook with usb)
I can navigate round various folders to get old mp3's I've downloaded but I cannot locate my old itunes, nor my partners.
I've installed itunes & quicktime on netbook and
I've tried several things to bring up my iTunes library.
*Holding shift down when opening itunes on netbook - empty
*Searching for itunes on external hardrive just brings up loads of folders which open new folders, which open new folders. No itunes.
*Running a search for itunes
I'm now at a loss?
Also, my partners user profile was password protected on old laptop but i don't know how to het to the user profile password screen on the external drive. I've found her documents folder but it says empty. I've read on the posts about taking ownership to get around this but there is no 'security' tab when clicking properties on her folder.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
