Hi I am in the process of building a system and want to use this memory that I picked up on this, the motherboard is the evga z97 classified, the cpu is the i5 4690k and the memory i would like to use is the klevv genuine 4GBx2 CL12 at 1.65v.

Pcpartspicker is stating ( The Klevv Genuine 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-2666 Memory operating voltage of 1.65V exceeds the Intel Haswell Refresh CPU recommended maximum of 1.5V+5% (1.575V )

I have worked in bios on other builds and used xmp and stuff a little and am wanting to ask others that may know this mobo and the evga bios and or Haswell acceptance.

thanks for any information

The ram will probably work.
The classified is built for overclocking.
All ram will boot at default voltage and speed.
Once in bios, you can overclock by using the available XMP profiles or.. not.

That said, fast ram for haswell is generally not worth the effort.

I would use ram that the ram vendor confirms is compatible with your motherboard.

Solution
Evga z97 motherboard states that it is suitable with memory 2666+ so am sure the motherboard is fine with this ram. i was just concerned about the i5 and dealing with that, I could just use different memory and save these klevv for another build.
