I created a partition for the purpose of using file history and saving all my personal files. However it is saved as a logical drive E and I think this is why windows cant find it when i try to add a drive and turn on the file history. How do I get this to work? I'm using windows 10

Solution
Create a Filehistory folder on e: then 'Share' (rt click>Sharing) it with yourself then you can set file history to use the shared drive using \\pcname\filehistory as if it were a network drive. Normally filehistory only work with a secondary drive or a network drive but this will work.
Keep in mind that file history uses alot of drive space.
