well i originally ordered RAM from newegg, and i had to return it after a month because it went bad. i remember looking at the memory (corsair xms2 ddr2 675) the heatsinks on it were metal or some similar material and on the lable next one of the codes on it it said v1.1... after getting my new memory modules today, i opened the package and noticed that the heatsinks on them were more plastic feeling than everything, and next to the same code it says v7.1 next to it
i know that this is a very random question but are their differences between the two, because there is such a large difference between the numbers
