Question Variable refresh rate on Snapdragon/ARM?

Someone just told me "Snapdragon can't do variable refresh rate (vrr)" on an external monitor for example.
Is this true?

It’s based on the display itself but the question is why would you want a snapdragon laptop?

ARM can do it because Apple does

I'm just investigating wether or not I should get a snapdragon laptop or not

I would say no. If you want an ARM laptop get a MacBook. Windows for ARM isn’t a good experience and the snapdragon chips are underpowered.
