I lower my VCore to 1.22 in the bios and then check CPU-Z. CPU-Z shows the 1.22 VCore amount that I just set it to in the bios. When I open AI Suite however it keeps showing that my voltage is 1.32. No matter what I manually set my VCore to the motherboard seems to just apply whatever voltage it thinks is necessary to run that multiplier rather than listening to my commands.
I'm thinking about clearing the CMOS but don't want to try this without some understanding as to what it does. What does it do? Do I need to turn off my computer before pressing it? If I do need to turn off my computer, should I also switch off the PSU in the back because with the PSU turned on it still lights up my motherboard LED's?
Do you think I should even try clearing the CMOS? What else could I try?
