I quoted the following paragraph in a thread awhile back.

http://www.tribeswar.com/announcement.html

2) On your computer, find the link that you use to launch Tribes2.
Right click on that link, and select 'Properties'. In the link
properties, you will see 'Target' listed, it will be something like
this: "C:\dynamix\tribes2\GameData\SierraUp.exe". Change that link
to be like this: "C:\dynamix\tribes2\GameData\Tribes2.exe -online"

To avoid confusion, that path probably should look like this

"C:\dynamix\tribes2\GameData\Tribes2.exe" -online

Geez. Thanks. I've been struggling with that for months now. Every time I
tried to enter the quotation marks, windows kept telling me I couldn't.

"Curse the anonymously named fool, John Doe" I said to myself. I admit to
also shaking my fist and getting a little angry.

After calming down - and a nice cup of tea of course - I simply resigned
myself to the fact that there are people out there who DON'T CARE.

Your post has restored my faith in humanity. Thank you.

Has he been officially indoctrinated by getting drilled by DEbig3? I think
that's when we're supposed to start showing him love, right? 😉

Thanks to a news server deciding to die overnight, I've taken to using the
cacky ISP server (as well as Pan (*ack*)), so I've been able to read the
past few months posts again. Cast your minds back some months, to a troll
that insisted on posting any replies it got with the full headers of the
persons reply.

Yes, "John Doe" was that very fool.

Drilled, DEboned and DEmasculated. Then, once he stops sobbing, you
can be nice. :)
