Monitor: Samsung ViewFinity S6
**Background**
I received a Samsung ViewFinity S6 monitor and when I connected my nintendo switch to the monitor using HDMI, the display faded for a while. After restarting the monitor, the display was back to normal. After 15 minutes a strange vertical band appeared on the right hand side of my screen which does not want to go away even after multiple restarts and cable reconnections. It has multiple coloured vertical lines but it appears to be grayi-sh from afar.
**Queries**
* Has anyone faced such issue? What is this issue called? (So that I can look up with users facing same issues)
* Is there a quick fix solution, like factory resetting monitor?
* What causes this issue? Was it due to nintendo switch?
**What I've done so far:**
Multiple power on/offs an cable reconnections. I've already raised a service request but the service center will take some time. It's really a bad experience from Samsung because I was excited for this monitor 😩.
