Left the house for a couple days, came home and see vertical green lines, evenly spaced all across my screen. Like every 1/2 centimeter or so..
Tried rebooting PC and monitor, reseating both ends of the cable, reseating graphics card updating graphics driver.. still there.
I ruled out the monitor, it's not on any of the boot-up screens or menus until I get to windows.

It's only on certain colors/shades. Like a solid black or solid white screen, I don't see it, but on dark grey it's there. Seems to me it would be the graphics card sending bad data? Any ideas? Anything I haven't tried?

Can you try GPU on another PC if that's an option for you.
Unfortunately not :/
It's watercooled and I'd rather play with green lines than go hook the fans back up to it and stick it in another PC 😛

I guess I could unmount it but leave the water attached, and try my wife's GPU in my pc though. I'll give that a try tonight

FIXED! Tried so many things.. played with bios settings, reinstalling drivers, reseating everything, different cables, etc etc

Who would have thought.. my monitors native resolution is 1920x1080, and it was set to that. I changed the resolution and the green lines went away. I changed it back to 1080 afterward and they didn't come back. Lol
What a weird glitch. Any tech gurus that can explain why the heck that would happen? Is there some temporary resolution settings file that got corrupted or something?
