Hiya,

Had the pc since 2019, so reasonable old (as PCs go). 2 fans at front, one at top from the liquid cooler and 1 output in rear. Just air around the pc is rather warm so wondering if it just needs a hardware update or anything. It is at the back of my desk between my old monitor and a curtain which is kept closed most of the time. Specs below

i7-9700F @ 3.00 GHz
ASRock B365M Pro4-F
32gb DDR4 RAM
GeForce RTX 2060
Cooler Master MasterLiquid Lite 120 CPU Liquid Cooler

Thanks in advance

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

Probable that the out of sight of mind setup of your build/case might've lead the AIO's radiator to get clogged with dust and debris preventing your AIO from venting.

You might want to run HWInfo and see what sort of temps you're seeing. You should also mention the make and model of your case. BIOS version for your motherboard? What OS are you working with?

Hiya, thank you, I did wonder if I was missing any specs. I suspect it needs a good clearout too, I have a brilliant little air blower for such a job. Am on Windows 10 currently.

Case is a Cyberpower ONYXIA Mid-Tower Black Gaming Case w/ USB 3.0, Front & Side Tempered Glass (quoted exactly)
BIOS version appears to be P1.30, according to Command prompt.

thanks for the fast response!

AIO coolers have a limited lifespan.
In time, the mechanical pump fails or gets clogged.
Air will intrude through the tubes and the unit must be replaced.
6 years before failure is typical.
Then also, a 120 aio is not as effective as a decent air cooler if the case can handle it.
Looks to me like your case is ok and a cooler replacement is in order.
Look for a thermalright peerless assassin, they are priced reasonably.

Heat should be normal. See that there is some sort of airflow around the case.
A photo of your set up might help.

Does your pc have a closed front?
Like in this photo?

If yes, then front fans serve no purpose.
They are there just for RGB bling and not doing anything to provide necessary airflow.
See, if you can remove front panel, to open up obstructed airflow.
If front panel can not be removed, then remove side panel.

Thank you, that's super helpful :) My pc in general needs a good upgrade in general just need monies for it xD

It has a glass cover but fans draw in air through the sides; there's a sliver of a gap between the glass sheet and the body of the case
There were a number of cases made like yours. Testing showed those slots on the side near the front did almost nothing. Although the front fans do draw some cooling they are mostly for show. If you can remove the front glass that would help a lot. Next time buy a mesh front case

Thank you for the advice ^^. I wanna upgrade/get a brand new pc when I have the money anyway, this one works but is fairly old and slowing down. I shall look for a different case next time
