I have a ViewSonic vx2776-4k-mhd mounted to a desk clamp monitor arm. The weight rating for the arm is 22lbs and the monitor is about 14lbs
My issue is that while the top two m4x12 thumb screws went in fine and tightened, the bottom two holes have a somewhat deep opening before the threading begins so the bottom two screws went in only a few turns. I tightened them a tiny bit further with a screwdriver (until they were completely in there)
My question is if I can leave it like this (have had it mounted for about a week now) or if I should buy different screws and the monitor is at risk of falling. It doesn’t appear to be unstable right now but in the long run I wouldn’t want it to get damaged.

Solution
one screw is strong enough to hold 22lbs. two is more than enough. you have 4. its fine.
I have mounted heavier monitors with double sided tape. it was really good tape but tape nonetheless.

Thanks for the quick response! Really eases my nerves a lot to get an outside opinion.
