Question VGA light and black screen

Hi All,

Built my first PC about a month ago. Everything is brand new. There were no issues prior but nowadays when I try to power on I sometimes get a black screen and the VGA error light is red on the motherboard BUT after a hard reboot everything goes back to normal. I checked the cables and they are properly connected and the GPU is seated correctly and I have the latest GPU driver but not the latest BIOS(my current version is F30). Could this be a BIOS issue or maybe my PSU is the problem? I fear that my new PC will die on me.

Is this;

the motherboard you're working with?

but not the latest BIOS(my current version is F30)
If so, you have BIOS updates pending;

I'd make sure that you're on the latest chipset driver sourced from AMD's support site, then flash the BIOS to version F33b. Once you've verified that the BIOS was flashed to the latest version, clear the CMOS for good measure.
