video card upgrade question

should I upgrade from my msi gtx 970 to a gtx 1070 or should I save up and get the gtx 1080? just wanting everyones opinion. also how is the 970 compared to the 1070?

ok everyone, I'm going to stick with my 970 till 4k monitors come down in price. I think the 970 is perfectly fine for 1080p gaming.
