Hello.I wanted to know does my mother board supports this video card: Galaxy GF 9400GT 1GB 128bit DDR2
Here are my specs:
2GB RAM 800Mhz
AMD Athlon64 X2 5200+
Mother Board:gigabyte GA-M61PME-S2
Power supply:Quantum ATX 400W 24pin

It has a PCI-E 16x slot so a 9400GT should work fine.

The power supply would be more than fine for a 9400gt but if you are looking for a gaming card that most definitely is not one. Also if that card is what you want don't pay extra for 1 gig of memory as it is entirely useless on that card.

Just one last question.Can my motherboard support GF8800

Your motherboard will work fine with any PCI-e graphics card. It's your power supply that would limit your selection. If you are talking about an 8800gt it would probably work with that PSU but a 9800gt is the same card and most of the newer ones use a lot less power than the old 8800gt. I would recommend the HD4770 instead though, it's better and doesn't use much power.

Your PSU doesn't seems good to me for a 8800GT.
Buy a Corsair 400W or equivalent.
These days 9800GT sells cheaper than 8800GT.
