Hey Guys,

its been a long time since ive built a rig... back when geforce gtx 1080ti ruled the day.

Im in the needed for a rig used 100% for video editing. i know that AMD has taken the crown as the king of CPUs but intel used to always take the cake when it came to video editing. I assume nvdia is still king, even for video editing.

any suggestions on what compontents to purchase with a budge of 2-2.5k?

thanks gents, very much appreciated

If you consider the current generation, then Intel is pretty much up there with AMD.
I am sure you will get some nice build ideas coming along from others.

Edit: Well, since nobody chipped in, here is something you can think about...

intel is beating AMD in decent number of the benchmarks, but AMD is close.

If on a budget 13700k or 7900x.

If unlimited budget 13900k and 7950x.

4000 series cards can really assist in video editing.

I'm running a 7900x, 64GB and 4070TI and it edits videos GREAT!!!
