I tried using new ati drivers & omega drivers, even older version drivers, but it does the same on all - even in offline play. Have run virus scan etc. - no issues. Pls help

ran ati tool. picked up many artifacts. lowered clock core speed from 398 to 370. seems to now run ok. But why will it not now run on default settings?

Mine did this right before it gave up its long and hard life as a space heater. It now resides in a static bag as a momento to UT.
Check your PS, it way be getting weak, I've seen this cause similar problems.

Act quickly. There is only one thing to do. Buy an Artic cooling VGA Silencer.(model 1)
Dont run ATItool because its artifactschecking can heat up the gpu so it burns if the cooling is less than 100%.
