Question. I've recently inherited a decent laptop and I've loaded Half-life on to it. Problem is when the game starts up it only runs on 3/4's of the screen. I've tryed changing the screen resolution but that only effects the screen when the game is not running. As soon as I start the game it begins running, but again only fills 3/4's of the screen. Anybody have any ideas? Thanks.

The problem is the laptop's LCD has a really high native resolution compared to half-life.

The laptop should have a way to force full screen somewhere... in the video driver maybe. Do some research, ask around on forums where people use that laptop.

Don´t know if this works, but it´s worth a try. When left clicking on the game icon, select properties, and change the "run as" to "maximized". Does it work?
