The sound effects are absolutely horrid. Maybe it's better that they didn't release (ahem read finish) this game. Even the graphics are dated.

Better as in being able to explode a door just by slashing oncewith your combat knife, or having the entire side of a building collapse when you shoot it with an assault rifle ? BC2 isn't that great at all...

The graphics look better on that trailer looks like that trailer was fanmade from old footage.

Well the Counterstrike (not the source) engine is based off the Quake 2 engine which the game in early development used.

I've been waiting 15 years since the best game ever came out.
I would pay 50$ just to play the parts that are playable yet.
