Misleading don't you think? The iPad is not running Win95. The Mac OS is emulating Win95. Two completely different things. Example: I can put a football jersey on, but that does not make me Peyton Manning.

razor512: The ARM CPU wont be able to emulate a pentium class cpu so you can forget about windows xp running on the ipad in emulators.

mr_tuel: Its not so much about 95 being DOS based but for it not needing things like MMX and SSE since your emulating every needed instruction needs to be "converted" in something the ARM CPU understands and thus less instructions (386 in stead of a pentium in example) makes it more likely the end result is able to run well enough.
I think if windows 95 runs its no problem to run NT 4.0 or even windows 2k as those both are capable of running native on 386 CPU's (though i would not recommend running 2k on a real 386).

Its just sad that so many people do not even understand or comprehend what this video means. Its not about the win 95 (or xp or me or w7). Its about x86 code running on ARM processor using the emulator (or virtualisation). This is very cool, and this has to be appreciated for that reason. Whether its useful is a different discussion.

[citation][nom]OvrClkr[/nom] The worst part is the fact that Apple did not implement a battery removal compartment, so if you battery dies to the point that you cannot retrieve your data you endup losing everything, just like the iphone all over again[/citation]

If you use an iPad normally, you will never lose data because it backs it up every time you recharge when you hook it up to iTunes. If the battery dies, you take it to any Apple store and they replace it on the spot, free of charge.
