Question Viewsonic monitor takes long time to turn on when PC is turned on ?

Viewsonic VX2453MH-LED Monitor during pc turn or fails to turn on for a couple of minutes.

displays the ViewSonic logo and restarts again, with every restart there is some kind of beep every time it restarts, but that beep is barely noticeable, eventually it turn on but it takes a long time.

I have another monitor which works perfectly fine, i switched monitors, turned off working monitor, but problematic monitor issue stays same

Any help how to solve this problem?

How old is your monitor?

Does is do the same on other video source or other computer?

If it does, the monitor might have an issue with one of its components, probably a dying capacitor or power supply adapter.

1. monitor is 10 years old.
2. it does same on other HDMI source, tho need to check DVI source will report that one in 1 day.

when it turns on eventually it works as it should be, and even if i restart PC or shut it down for a couple of minutes. it stops working as usual if period is long like when i go to sleep

You can't really blame a 10yo monitor for going bad.

It's a clear sign of an aging electronic device, it can be fixed by a local technician though.
