[SOLVED] Viewsonic XG2405 running at 2k resolution

So I tried making a custom resolution in the Nvidia control panel on my Viewsonic XG2405 at 2560x1440 and at first I thought it failed but then I checked my resolutions in my display settings and somehow it was there and to my amazement, it worked and mind you I am running this using HDMI cable at 144hz! it ran smoothly but I am still unsure if it is safe to run in especially because it's native resolution is 1920x1080. I would really appreciate if you can tell me if it is safe to run in or not. thank you in advance.

You can set whatever custom resolution you want, it will just be downscaled to 1920×1080 before being transmitted to the monitor.
