virus. backdoor Trojen

I have had Norton tek team remote with my pc. And they cannot get rid of it. They all so said it is not even present on my Hdd. but i can see it in my (c) drive. Any one know how to get rid of this. programdata\microsoft\performance\monitor\securityhelper.dll

power fixer/delete doctor both do not work all so booting up in safe mode and trying for there will not work.

disk doctor says it is open in another location. but i checked task manager and cannot see it.

i am wondering if i should just sit back and let norton continue blocking it. and wait for the windows 10. or reinstall windows 8.1

i do own windows tiny xp beast edition. 114meg. i used this with advantage tool's way back in the day. and belive me there is no operating system that can match it in speed. 13 seconds full boot every time.

a clean install will usually work.
just upgrading, however, probably wont

also, i do not like that linux utility. its overengineered imo

sorted it by removing Norton and installing kaspersky. it removed it with no problem's at all
