Vista 64-bit not reading Samsung Camcorder for capture

Hello, I have recently bought another computer to do video editing using Pinnacle 14. I have Windows Vista Premium 64-bit and my camcorder is not detected when I plug it in. Is there anything I can do to make this work properly so I may capture video from this camcorder (Samsung SCD6550) or am I going to have to buy a new camera now too? Samsung has a driver for the 32-bit, but not the 64-bit! PLEASE HELP!

You could remove the sd card and put it in a card reader to transfer your files to the pc.
According to the Samsung quick guide they are in mpeg format, so won't present any problems to work with.
If you don't have one they are not very expensive.
