Vista virus (X):boot

my operating system is not booting on my c drive as a virus as infected me with an x drive only 31 mg bites large with no files how can i remove this using command prompt as start up repair and system retore have failed the x drive false files boot up my comuter to a curser and black screen

Boot off your Vista disc, and get into the command prompt. At the command line, type rstrui.exe and press enter. This will open the restore points. Roll back to when you were able to boot. Then run through the malware guide in my signature.

If that doesn't work, remove your hard drive, and slave it into another PC. Use Malwarebytes to scan and clean the slave drive.
