For using multiple VMware clients is it better to have more cores/threads or stronger cores? I intend to use my gaming rig in a multi-boxing solution for an online game called Archeage. Ideally I'll have 1-2 VMware clients running in the background with the lowest possible graphic settings alongside my main ArcheAge client which will run with max settings. FYI Archeage is capable of using all 8 cores, but the question remains. For my situation will I benefit more from stronger cores or more cores?
My budget choices are the i5-4690k or the FX-8350/9590.
