Yeah, it's pretty much the only game in town for "remote assistance to my 92 year old grandfather who can't figure out Windows Remote Assistance.' I email him a link to a file, he downloads it (this process typically takes about 5-10 minutes of coaching), then runs it and I can take over.Not that I know of, the user to be controlled would need to right click the system tray icon and enter the listening viewers IP in the add listening viewer option.
I can see why what you describe above would be useful though.
