Volume will not stay on

The volume will not stay on on my HP Pavilion x360. I can scroll it all the way up, and as soon as I take my finger off the button, it rolls all the way down to mute.

Sounds like you have a stuck vol down button, perhaps on the keyboard.

I think so, too, but how does one go about "unsticking" it??
