I have a VS450 lying around my current psu crapped out. I was wondering if it would be safe to run VS450 with i7 4790 + GTX 960 4gb Asus strix + 2 x8gb DDR3 ram + 1fan + 1hdd + 1ssd.

The VS450 is a older version which has the VS written in orange. I got it from a friend since he had it spare. And i dont have money to buy a new psu right now.

I plan on gaming on my PC Games like rainbow six siege , valorant , some gta , path of exile and hyper scape.

Good responses my fellow guru friends. Honestly I would not use a cheapo 450w even tho at max you will pull barely touch 400w. Reason being since it is a 450w cheapo PSU the ampage on the 12v rail will not suffice. Things might work in the beginning but be cautious as the PSU can blow up your video card or other components. I personally would not use that PSU on your corrent rig unless you wanna take a risk and what not. Also as the guru above said SeaSonic won't cut the rug. Honestly just buy a G3 EVGA 80+ bronze rating 550w. However if it was me I would go with 650w so you can be future proof for say a 4080 video card in the future and what not.🤷‍♂️🙈👽💀
