The XB280k runs at 144hz not 60 like the upcoming one.

Sorry, I edited my post to point out that the Acer is tn and Asus is IPS.

only difference i know but price diff will be huge :O

The acer will be harder on your eyes (priceless). The ASUS has low blue light. It also has flicker protection like the ACER
