I have 3D for $600 including new PC. My wife demanded I get rid of my power tower and now that I have children and mainly deal with system admin stuff, I don't need as much power and GPU performance as before. This is becoming increasingly evident with cloud computing and mobile/tablet computers. I bought an Acer Aspire R3700 with NVIDIA® GT218-ION Graphics running NVIDIA® 3DTV Play on the Acer HS244HQbmii which comes with their 3D active shutter glasses. While I am not impressed that these glasses are not rechargeable (surely someone makes one that will later and the batteries are cheap). While I can only watch 720P 3D mainly (games and video) - my 3D camera - FujiFilm W3 was also $250 and won't record anything greater than this anyway. Truth be told - 720P is all you normally see anyway on TV or digital content today due to bandwidth vs quality issues. I can also watch Blu-Ray 3D at 1080p which is also cool and I can view 3D images of my child which was the main reason. I would suggest the additional 2GB of DDR3 memory and the addition of an SSD for the ultimate performance but hey cheap 3D and I used it on the projector for the CEO / CFO of my company and he loved it.
