1. PC can be ANY shape/size/material/color you want. All apples look the same. They are not special. You are not special.
2. I am very skeptical, that you have any experience in any industry, but besides that fact, yes PC (rather windows) is used extensively in the "print industry"
3. No, OSX is a modified unix platform. Unix is ANCIENT and not nearly as secure as apple wants you to believe.
4. Once again, you can make a PC ANY shape/size/color/material you want.
5. You do realize that microsoft develops office right?
6. your opinion means very little, as i assume your under lying knowledge of any OS is extremely limited to GUI screenshots.
7. Ill try and put this in a way you can understand... Mac, and PC can use any keyboard they want. This kind of a moot point.
9. Luckily adobe finally updated creative suite for MAC, how many years had it been?
10. 30 in monster? Its just a large LCD using cheap parts that they sell for way to much. Real graphic designers use CRTs anywho. Also note that their imac monitors have severe color reproduction issues.

Don't make me laugh.... its funny as he tries to think of reasons why its better when its not.

And how many times and how long have you used Vista? Vista is a good OS. Stop being like Apple and just bad mouthing Vista/PCs without any proof... its all your opinion.

Impressive. I didn't really understand the rant this thread started with, and I'm not sure where went.

For a mac as a wintel gaming platform though, doesn't a dual quad-core Intel with an 8800GT work well? I really don't know, I don't bother watching benchmarks at apple sites and don't use one myself, it just seems like a decent spec sheet, if a bit more server than workstation.

Having installed several Macs though, Apple does provide little clips and package everything more thoughtfully than most PC distributors. Maybe that justifies the premium cost to some.

I like Vista. I wouldn't run it on any computer designed to be run with Windows XP though. Just as I wouldn't run XP on a computer from 1998. I wouldn't just up and upgrade from XP to Vista, but getting a new computer I got Vista cause it's practically the same price for OEM.

Why not just get a real organic apple and duct tape it to the keyboard or case?

😳

Edit:

Thread is moving faster then I'm typing... must be cause I'm on a PC.

This is Toms Hardware
Singing praise to the Mac is near blasphemous!

Thanks for the new quote by the way!

Once this breaks out to my other friends, you're anti-mac behavior shall be disgraced

LOL..... I love Grimmy. Hes funny.

Macgirl, calm down. We are not anti-mac but MAC just isnt part of thr PC enthusiast crowd. We like things we can build, OC and make kick ass. Not things we can pay too much for, pull out of the box and turn it on <--------------- Whats the fun in being able to turn it on out of the box?

Apologies if this is the same vid already linked, but I cant see YouTube from work...

Not Mac bashing, but this one is pretty funny, http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=2759272713510041107&q=Mac+or+PC&ei=LJ0YSMOsIJGErgKH1Jn0Bw

And for you mac heads who want to spout your 'Macs dont get viruses and spyware' crap, its not cuz your platform is so much more secure, its because theres no fun in attacking such a small group of people.

Makes me want to learn how to write viruses...

Also you need to snap out of your 'PC Sux' mode. I hate to break it to you, but PC stands for Personal Computer. Pretty sure that means a Mac too, even before they moved to Intel. You need to understand that you hate WINDOWS, not PCs.

Ive used OSX, its alright, but I wasn't overly impressed. I can make Windows do whatever I want to do, so I have no need to move to anything else. As far as Linux, I want to learn it, but I just cant get motivated to take the time.
