Want to upgrade my GPU

Basically I'm aiming for 1440p 120+ fps. I've looked around and seen that the 1080 is good for that, but the 1070ti could do it as well. I've also been browsing amazon for ages now and the prices fluctuate a lot. Also, I keep being drawn to the asus strix versions, they look cool, have three fans and I love the rgb, my addiction is a major problem. However I do want to not spend too much money, my budget is ~£500. Space isn't a issue.

Specs:
i5-6600k
asus z270-a? (I'm on holiday and can't remember everything)
8gb (soon to be 16gb 3000mhz)
1tb storage in case you needed to know that

Just to turn that into understandable english: two questions "1080 or 1070ti?" and "which model/company/one (evga, msi, asus etc.)?"

Firstly if you intend to play AAA titles at the best possible graphics you will find that the 1070 ti and 1080 will not be up for the challenge. if your playing e sports titles or simply less demanding titles either will be fine, if this is the case go with the 1070 ti as it can be overclocked up to near identical to 1080 performance.
if you are however playing AAA titles i would recomend a GTX 1080 TI as it can deliver what you want. im not sure exactly but i believe that you can get a 1080 ti for around 500 pounds (i live in Australia and the price conversion is confusing)
