hmmmmm there are no actual instructions for how to enter OR win. i guess people are assuming it is another "post well" thing? i left a very witty comment in the last contest and it hasnt even been resolved yet. so for now my wit is just between me and anhauser busch. sorry

I have traveled across the vast void, bleak and lonely reaches of this galaxy, desperately searching for some sort of technology that will unlock my crippled navigation system. I was attacked by a vicious species and barely escaped. Please give me that chip so that I may return HOME! I beg of you!

[citation][nom]Moores law[/nom]Wow, A CPU that cost more than a actual PC? I would be amazed if I won, but I wont win anything from Tom's Hardware until 2012 when we all die, just my luck.[/citation]
Honestly, I was just thinking the same thing.

I haven't won anything since I won a free bottle of soda under a bottle cap when I was 7 years old... back before the days of the interweb codes.
Since then I have been full of loss.

Too all of you excited about the prospect of free stuff. If the value of the prize is over $600 you'll get a tax form which means that next year you'll have to pay ~$300 (~30% * $1,000) for the CPU. Think about that for a moment.

Guys, calm down a little... The entry form is here: Competition Entry Form

Posting in the comments will get you nowhere, I'm a little shocked Tom's didn't put a link to the comp in this Article, instead they want you to read the article reviewing the i7 990x then find the link.

Good luck all, unfortuantely I'm an Aussie, so that's me out before it even began..
