Will it work well as I don't know it will give max speed or not. The sata 2 or 3 . Sata 3 gives max speed I guess.

The SSD is sata 3. To get sata 3 speeds your motherboard must also support sata 3. Your MB is sata 2 but it will still work at lower speed.

Yes - faster than a HD. Sata2 3Gbs is pretty fast.
