wanting to swap drives between x1 carbon and yoga 7i but the latter cant see any drive but original

no matter what i do the weird boot menu of the lenovo yoga 7i cannot see any drive but the original nvme. its not a very user friendly bios like high end thinkpads have either and not at all liking it. but i need to upgrade the drive but until get this resolved guess its gonna stay. unless you got the key to the mystery. its not changing boot drives either thats not even an option in bios....... help!

*UPDATE* and more details
while the original drive is 2242 the slot is 2280 length with screw there for such drive id include pix but they are not easy to upload. i found out the issue is this device is newer and requires drives to be nvme type to be recognized. so my whole idea has to be rethought. may have to get cloning hardware and software. thanks. you can close this.

i just decided to reset the pc, remove user files for keeping and start over. wanted to swap drives with family member cuz their pc was getting older and they wanted this newer yoga over theiraging one but if this is some kind of propietary requirement that this will not allow for drive swapping then we'll just have them try using it as fresh make it their own new and keeping the old one as a backup with all their stuff. its not making sense totally but this is gonna do just annoying ebery other device has allowed for drive swaps. actually it does see newer nvme drives but they all BSOD and never resolve.
